Check fuel level, refill cylinder or replace canister

Move canister and venturi tube to the downwind side of the BBQ. Increase pre-heat time.


Flame on low setting and lid is closed or opened too quickly


Relight and close or open lid more slowly

Clean components


Excessive fat in meats


Trim fat from cuts of meat before grilling


Excessive oils in marinades
